All of my sessions are a combination of documentary and fine art portraits, authentically telling your families story. And don’t worry, I won’t direct you or tell you to smile at the camera. There will be zero awkward posing!

I take as much time as needed and shoot to my heart's content to capture all that is necessary for the final gallery.

Your session fee includes my time during the shoot, editing of your final gallery, entire digital collection of images and and travel within the Bath/Bristol area.

What if my children don’t behave?

They don’t need to! I expect children to be exactly who they are; curious, shy, loud, wriggly, cautious, joyful and everything in-between! There is no good or bad behaviour. My sessions are designed around real family dynamics, not perfection. Some of the best photographs happen in the in-between moments.

My child is very shy. Is that a problem?

Not at all. I work gently and respectfully and without pressure. I honestly just ‘hang out’ with you and your family and chat and play with the kids while I also take photo’s to help the children feel as relaxed and at ease as possible. There’s no expectation to perform or smile on demand. Shy children often give the most thoughtful, beautiful moments once they feel safe.

What should we wear?

Comfort always comes first. Neutral tones, soft textures and layers tend to photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you feel like yourselves. I’m always happy to help you choose outfits if you’d like guidance.

Can we include grandparents / pets?

Yes! Both are very welcome. Just let me know in advance so we can plan the session around everyone comfortably (especially if there are different energy levels involved).

Where will the session take place?

Sessions can take place in your home, outdoors, or at a location we choose together. I’ll help you decide what setting will suit your family best and feel most natural.

How long does a family session last?

Most family sessions last around 60–90 minutes but I offer longer sessions too. This gives us time to settle in, take breaks if needed, and keep things relaxed without rushing.

What if the weather is bad?

If we’re planning an outdoor session and the weather isn’t kind, we’ll reschedule or adjust plans. No one wants stressed parents or soggy children. Flexibility is built into the process.

How many images will we receive?

You’ll receive a carefully curated gallery anywhere in the range of 60 - 120 images depending on how long a session you have had. The final gallery will tell the unique  story of your family authentically and you’ll have plenty of images to choose from.

Do you do posed family shots?

Yes! We’ll take a few more ‘everyone together’ images, but the session focuses on connection rather than stiff posing. Think closeness, movement and real interaction.

When will we receive our images?

You’ll receive your gallery within 2–3 weeks. If you need images sooner for a specific reason, just let me know and I’ll do my best to help.

How do we book?

Simply get in touch via the contact form or email, and we’ll take it from there. I’ll guide you through the whole process , you don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Gift Vouchers for photo sessions make beautiful gifts

A gift voucher for a photography session makes a wonderful gift for the arrival of a new baby, birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries or just because! Whatever the occasion, a photography gift voucher is a lovely gift to give someone!

The voucher can be for just a 1 hour photo session or a full 12 hour day in the life!

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

I cover Bath and all of Somerset and Bristol. I have a number of favourite spots in the local area that I can suggest for family adventure shoots.  Alternatively, I'm available to visit your home or other locations in neighbouring counties of Wiltshire, Devon, and South Gloucestershire.
